Affiliated Members – Think globally, act locally, and globally

Through IISD, faculty and professionals from the United States and overseas pursue an institutional focus on such areas as Higher Education Policy, Planning, Management and Evaluation; Elementary and Secondary Education Policy, Planning, Management and Evaluation; Curriculum Reforms and Textbook Production; Educational Testing and Assessment; Participatory Planning for Educational Renewal; Teacher Development through Active Learning; Decision-Oriented Research; Distance Education and Diversity Studies.

Faculty and professionals affiliated with IISD will be involved in research, sector assessment, project and program evaluation activities; and technical cooperation and professional exchanges with educators from all over the world. In collaboration with other Schools, Departments, faculty members affiliated with IISD will conduct special training programs for educators and government officials from Africa, Asia, Europe and Latin America and locally in New York.

Dil Angaiz is an International Doctoral student at Dowling College Long Island. She has vast experience in teaching right from ECD to the university level. She has been working as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Educational Development at Karakoram International University, Gilgit-Baltistan, Pakistan. Her area of specializations is Educational Leadership and Management. Currently her major focus is on Quality at Higher Education and integration of technology in the classrooms.

Hamid Ikram is a university teacher and he is enrolled in Dowling college as a doctoral student. He is working for IISD as Research Assistant and passionate to promote this institute. His international experience is a great contribution for the development of this institute. 

Zahra Jabeen is an Ed.D student at Dowling College, Long Island, New York. She came from Pakistan where she is serving as a lecturer in Karakoram International University from last four years. Prior to that, she had been an Academic Development Officer, Teacher Educator, and Science Teacher in Aga Khan Education Service in Pakistan. She earned her Master’s degree in education from Australian Catholic University and Karachi University, Pakistan.
